Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff are sure to get on each other’s nerves. Little People Big World fans see that even in recent scenes as they try to plan a fundraiser. All these years later, and even after moving on with other people, Amy and Matt still lock horns.
As the saying goes, you can’t have too many cooks in the kitchen. For Amy and Matt, there’s always a power struggle to call the shots in everything they do. With how heated things can get between them, it’s easy to forget that they were ever together as long as they were.

When you spend 28 years married to someone, raise four kids together, and build a life with someone for that long, it’s impossible to erase them from your life completely. Amy and Chris regularly visit Roloff Farms to spend time with Matt and Caryn Chandler.
Amy Roloff also still carries Matt Roloff’s last name, and they will always be involved with one another through their children and grandchildren.
In recent Little People Big World scenes, Amy Roloff even said that “things are still kind of awkward” around her ex-husband. Amy went on to say that she doesn’t need to hear any personal details of Matt and Caryn’s relationship or their engagement. She also said that holding onto any drama was “not necessary.”
In previous Little People Big World scenes, there was a lot of drama over Caryn Chandler’s engagement ring being bigger than the one Amy has. She tried her best to shrug it off, but, you could tell that this irked her just a little bit.
Amy Roloff is open about the fact that no matter what happens, her time with Matt Roloff will always stay with her. Amy said: “It’ll always impact until the day I die.” In her words, she said that you “do the best you can.”
Amy also expressed regret over Matt turning their family home on Roloff Farms into a short-term rental. It’s the home that they raised their children in. In her eyes, a family should be living in it rather than temporary guests.

Amy has said that she tries her best to be “cordial” in her interactions with Caryn Chandler, but, many Little People Big World fans can see that there’s some bitterness, and perhaps even some resentment there.
Whether Amy likes it or not, she and Caryn Chandler will always have a link through Matt. Caryn said recently: “We’ve both been with Matt forever and no matter whatever happens, Amy and I will have Matt in common, the good, the bad, the whatever.”
